Every tool has its advantages and its disadvantages. TYPO3 is great for building big websites with many involved people. But WordPress is a good choice for running a blog.

I tried Espresso, Smultron and many more tools for coding, perhaps i should give Textmate a try.

For CSS i would add CSSEdit which i really love. For FTP i would add Cyberduck, which works perfect with Smultron, Espresso and Textmate. Best of all it’s open source.

You’re talking about advanced technologies, evangelise the great typo3, incapable to create a blog you’re using WordPress.

I didn’t know about Sequel Pro. I was still using the old CocoaMySQL. A nice re-discovering :)
